Huge thanks to both the IFAAA and NextUp teams for making this trip such a memorable experience for everyone involved. The planning, hard-work and passion that went into organizing and executing this trip did not go unnoticed! As such, the players’ outstanding performances not only reflect their own talent but also, is a testament to the care and professionalism that they received throughout the experience.

When the opportunity arose to join Next Up on the NYC College Showcase tour, we seized it without hesitation. My son, one of the youngest members of the Barbadian team, had the privilege of being part of an experience that was exceptional from the very beginning. The organization and execution of the tour were nothing short of amazing. I was thoroughly impressed by the attention to detail, seamless planning, and warm hospitality extended by Coach Josh, Brandon, Zico, and John. Every aspect was handled with professionalism and care. I had no time to worry or feel anxious as we the parents back home were constantly kept updated via communication channels. It was as if we were physically there. The tour was filled with unforgettable highlights — from the elite Red Bulls Academy training sessions, to witnessing the Chelsea vs. Fluminense FIFA Club semifinal match. But the most outstanding moment of all was when the boys earned 2nd place in the NYC Cup — a proud and emotional achievement that will stay with us forever. These are truly memories to cherish for a lifetime. I wholeheartedly congratulate the organizers and, without a doubt, we would return if given the opportunity again. Sadé J.

the trip was a good experience

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! John and Kevin were fantastic and our local guide Albert was phenomenal. Our son ended up getting injured during the tournament but they were great about getting him checked out on-site as well as at a local hospital. Even though our son missed a good portion of the tournament and wasn’t able to participate much in the training sessions or friendly, it was an unbelievable experience for him which he will remember for a long long time. If there’s another trip next year we are in! Thanks again to John, Kevin, Albert and IFAAA!

The workshop was Informative, interactive and inclusive. A friendly and relaxed classroom and training environment. Good insight for all present of how to deliver a professional demeanor when presenting new and reoccurring information to the players. The guest players embraced every opportunity, critique, praise, and trained hard for the coaches. The great culture and learning environment was infectious and rewarded with strong collaboration from all participants on the pitch. Look forward to future invites and experiences to lead my coaching journey. Thank you for a great coaching experience.
